The pump has two modes, letdown (5 levels) and expression (9). The pump is pretty strong as well without it feeling like it’s going to rip your nipples off. The pump can hardly be heard while chatting with my hsuband while making dinner for example. I can pump in the car and do not hear the pump with the radio being on at a reasonable volume. The pump itself: The motor is very quiet compared to my other pumps, definitely the quietest pump I own. With a large sweater/shirt I could totally get away with wearing them in public. The cups were quite comfortable for plastic.I prefer silicone and have had poor reactions to plastic flanges but these did not cause any discomfort at all. I honestly hate the Legindairy cups because they are so cumbersome of with my chest size/shape. These cups look 100x more natural and discreet on me. For comparison I own Legendairy’s cups that I use with my GA. Due to the shape and size of the cup pumping is much more discreet as someone with a large chest (36 G). The cups are shaped somewhat in a tear shape. The cups that come with the pump hold 5 oz and are fairly small/discreet. By far the easiest wearable cup in terms of assembly and cleaning. They are very easy to assemble and disassemble. The cups come in three pieces the cup, the flange/shield (21 and 24 mm), and a membrane. The cups: Upon initial inspection I really liked the cups. The pumps I am comparing this to are the Medela PIS Maxflow, Pumpables GA, and Evenflo’s Double Electric Hospital-grade pump. I should disclose that I was a product tester for this pump and now that it has launched in the U.S. I figured I would share my experience with the pump and cups in hoping it would help my fellow pumpers. Hello everyone! I’ve seen quite a few posts about Medela’s Freestyle Hands-free pump but have yet to see a full review.
